Selection of Vibration Pads for Generators
◆ Select the Diesel/Gas/Petrol based Generator which needs vibration damping.
◆ Select the number of mounting locations for the generator. This number of mounting locations is usually the number of mounting points where the generator is mounted on the metal base-frame.
◆ Compute the Centre-of-Gravity of the Generator and total weight of the generator including all working paramters like fuel and engine oil.
◆ Using the C.G. of the generator, compute the static and dynamic weight of the generator at each mounting point.
